Model Making - Project 1 & Exercise 1

I have learned a lot from Pro 1. First, I become aware of that enlarging or reducing the scales to the one that we should use in Model Making is a convenient way for us due to the exemption of measuring work. Second, I obtain the skills to making 45 degree cutting, especially when I am cutting cross the wood. Third, I am able to use UHU to make clean and neat joints. Forth, I know how to use sand paper to optimize my cutting. Fifth, I learn that it is quite important to keep all the surfaces of the model having the same wood pattern, because this will make your model look more flawless.

FINAL EXERCISE - ROSE SEIDLER HOUSE

This is a series of hand drawings about ROSE SEIDLER HOUSE including 2 plans, 2 sections, 2 elevations and 2 perspective drawings. This is an effecitive way to explore an existing famous house, and this is a way of experimenting the arrangement of the layout in which we are required to keep our drawings in logic sequences.

EXERCISE 03 - PERSPECTIVE

EXERCISE 03 was prepared for us to learn perspective drawing. We learned how to draw lines, surfaces and even objects according to the vanishing points. This is a gateway to obtain the skills for 3D creativity. Moreover, we also attained some views about rendering.

EXERCISE 02 - SCALE / MEASURING UP

From EXERSICE 02, we were offered the opportunity to get familiar with the scales. This is an important aspect when we are lauching a presentation or arranging a layout. In addition, we also learned how to draw a simple section according to the plan.

EXERCISE 01 - TEACUP DRAWINGS

This is EXERCISE 01. We drew a set of plan, section and elevation of a piece of teacup in order to appropriate the accuracy during we are doing design, and we also got acquainted with the different concepts of Plan, Section and Elevation.
